CAMBRIDGE, MD – Tracy Tyler earned the Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce Business Woman of the Year 2011 Award. The honor was awarded to Tyler for her for her commitment to Cambridge International and the improvements she has made in the business, as well as for her dedication to Dorchester County.
Focused on the future and driving Cambridge International in new directions, Tyler aspires to create an environment of open communication throughout the workplace and aims to meet the needs of current employees, while consistently creating jobs in the area. She was recently featured in the MaryLand of Opportunity Campaign, sponsored by the Department of Business and Economic Development, for her management style and dedication to Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
Tyler is a model member of the community, playing key roles with the Junior Achievement Program and the Dorchester County Superintendent’s Advisory Council. Through the support of Cambridge International, she also participates in local business programs such as the Americans for the Competitive Enterprise System (ACES) and Habitat for Humanity.
Cambridge International is proud that our CEO has been selected for this honor. The Chamber of Commerce presented her with the award on May 23rd at dinner function, along with six other award winners who, like Tracy, represent what it means to be an exemplary citizen of Dorchester County.
