Cambridge Architectural has an exciting opportunity for an Application Engineer, who will contribute to Cambridge International's success by providing technical services for product selection, application engineering, and project management for client applications.

The ideal candidate will actively partner with sales, project managers, engineering, and manufacturing to provide creative, yet cost effective design solutions that meet and/or exceed customer expectations.

Education:   

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical experience

Experience:      

•  One-three years experience in design, product development, or application engineering

Skills:

• Proficient use of CAD/Solidworks programs to produce system drawings
• Motivated, Self-Starter
• Strong analytical/problem-solving ability to resolve various technical issues
• Proven time management/organization skills to thrive in a fast-paced, diverse environment
• Strong sense of teamwork to achieve a common goal
• Solid mathematical/estimating ability
• *Experience in construction industry a plus
• *Knowledge of machine shop and fabrication a plus
