As an Application Engineer within our Cambridge Engineered Solutions division, you will contribute to our company’s success by evaluating, estimating, and designing conveyer belts, wire cloth, and filtration products based on customer specifications.

In doing so, you will actively partner with sales, purchasing, and manufacturing to provide creative, yet functional design solutions that meet and/or exceed customer expectations.

Success Factors:

Education:

• Bachelors/Associates degree in Engineering or related field preferred or equivalent technical experience

Experience:

• 2-5 years experience in engineering field
• SolidWorks experience required
• *Manufacturing and/or construction experience a plus
• *Metallurgical background a plus

Skills:

• Ability to read blue prints/CAD drawings
• Excellent written/oral communication
• Proficiency in SolidWorks
• Great attention to detail
• Strong mathematical skills/estimating ability
• Strong sense of teamwork to achieve a common goal
• Strong analytical/problem-solving ability to resolve various technical issues
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, diverse environment
