In the 1950s, Cambridge began cladding elevators and walls with durable metal cladding. This eventually led to the full-time production of metal mesh for architectural purposes, with Cambridge at the forefront of a major change in interior and exterior building design. Cambridge is an expert in metal mesh facades, offering engineering and installation services. Made from recycled and recyclable stainless steel, Cambridge architectural mesh systems are sustainable, functional, and beautiful.
More recently, our in-house engineering team began realizing the potential for conveyor belting in the green technology sector. Working with key partners, our belts have become major components in clean air and renewable fuel technologies.
